Getting to Pineridge

The Pineridge Resort sits on the south shore of Deer Lake, about 12 miles north of Grand Rapids, Minnesota — deep in the Northwoods but easy to reach.

From the Twin Cities, plan on roughly 3 hours and 30 minutes (about 200 miles). The Grand Rapids/Itasca County Airport is 20 minutes away, and the Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport is the nearest major airport.

Suggested Packing List

Cabins come with a full kitchen, fresh bed linens, and the basics. Here's what to bring from home to round things out:

  • •Bath towels, beach towels, and kitchen towels
  • •Toiletries, medications, and personal items
  • •Shampoo, soap, and other shower essentials
  • •Sunscreen and bug spray
  • •Swimsuits and water shoes
  • •Rain jacket and a warm layer for cool evenings
  • •Fishing gear, fillet knife, freezer bags, and a valid Minnesota fishing license
  • •Preferred personal flotation devices
  • •Cooler for day trips and shore lunches
  • •Flashlight or headlamp
  • •Camera and binoculars
  • •Board games, books, or cards for quiet evenings
  • •Groceries, coffee, cooking oil, spices, aluminum foil, and any specialty ingredients or cooking items
  • •Ice
  • •Toilet paper, paper towels, plastic wrap, extra trash bags, and kitchen essentials you may prefer

Pet Policy

We love having well‑behaved dogs at the resort. To keep every guest comfortable, the following breeds (and mixes of them) are not permitted:

Pets must be leashed in common areas, never left unattended in cabins, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. Pet fee: $225 per week or $35 per day.
